Our Client is a very successful tire manufacturer with a large presence in the North American Agricultural, Earth Moving, and Material Handling industries. What you will do:
Establish professional relationships with customers, equipment dealers, tires dealers and other appropriate members of the Farming communities.
Promote products and programs including updates on product performance, new products and new applications.
Work with equipment dealers to promote sales.
Demonstrate technical selling skills and product knowledge in all areas that allows an effective presentation.
Develop a database of equipment dealers and customers through referrals, telephone canvassing and cold calling
Assure customer satisfaction and support all phases of new product design.
Submit weekly activity/call reports, including customer related activities, customer perceptions, issues uncovered and opportunities found among others.
Perform other duties as assigned with minimal supervision.
What you will need:
A post-secondary education in an agricultural field
Strong communication skills, self motivated, self starter, sense of urgency, personable, extroverted personality, well organized and strong time management skills.
Working knowledge of computer programs including MS Office
Competent in assessing customer needs.
Good reasoning ability.
Knowledge of applications in the Farm Industry.
Ability to communicate with customers, management and co-workers, both individually and in front of a group is critical.
Must be able to lift and move around up to 50 pound objects.
Must have a valid driver s license and good driving record.
