Our Client is a growing, livestock management equipment dealer servicing Eastern Ontario. They require a Dairy Equipment Sales/Buisness Manager with the drive to become successful. Please apply below if you feel you could offer equipment solutions to farmers.
What you will do:
Review Monthly and Annual statements for sales, service and parts departments
Compare sales percentages / ratios and margins for each department to industry standards and company budget
Create budgets and action plans to achieve targets
React to current economic agricultural conditions
Create marketing programs to ensure consistent / increasing sales for all departments
Monitor, review and maintain accounts receivables at an acceptable level
Maintain cash flow at determined levels according to the amount of sales and business owner requirements
Control and monitor expenses to help achieve net profit goals
Provide Monthly reports to business owner / lending institution or Manufacturer as required
Maintain proper Health and Safety education / training and record keeping as required by current government regulations
Review employees activities and help them succeed in their individual roles
Maintain facilities properly to promote good customer traffic
Ensure that the company s credit reputation is maintained at the highest level possible
Cultivate a good working relationship with suppliers
Offer solutions that fit customers needs
Visit customers and prospective customers
Learn about their operation so that you can suggest equipment which will be helpful
Manage a sales territory
Maintain relationships with existing customer
Build new relationships with new customers
Assist in managing new and used inventory
Know how to make valuations for used equipment
Promote other dealership services to the customer
Submit paperwork, properly completed to the appropriate dealership departments
What you will need:
Selling experience or experience in customer service in an agricultural environment
A minimum of 5 years experience in business management
Working knowledge of farm equipment
A passion for helping farmers with their equipment needs
The willingness to call on new and current customers
The ability to work effectively with most common computer programs
The entrepreneur spirit to take on an opportunity and watch it grow
Bilingual in French and English would be considered an asset
