Gasser Ag Services is a community based business that provides Trucking, Spraying and GPS Services. Based out of Chesterville, Ontario, we service farmers and elevators across Eastern Ontario and throughout the regions of Stormont, Dundas and Glengary, Prescott-Russell, Leeds and Glenville and the Ottawa Valley.

Gasser Ag Services is currently recruiting for a full time PROFESSIONAL APPLICATOR (SPRAYER OPERATOR) with the opportunity to start employment as soon as possible.

The successful candidate must be self-motivated, ambitious, possess strong communication skills, and be capable of working well both individually and as a team.

A basic understanding of agricultural practices and mechanical skills are required.

Job Description and Responsibilities:

• Full time position with extended seasonal hours.
• Operate application equipment to apply crop protection products.
• Responsible for handling chemicals within the guidelines of the label instructions, using basic computer and math skills.
• Maintain accurate mixing and application records.
• Maintain equipment to ensure safe and accurate application.
• Other duties may include maintenance on equipment and in shop, and trucking (with valid AZ licence)
• Possible sales and installation of GPS precision farming equipment

Certificates and Licenses:

• All certificates and licenses are assets, but can be acquired upon employment.
• Ontario Pesticide Training and Certification - Exterminator License
• AZ License
