Job Title: Technical Sales Representative – Animal Health

Job Summary:
You will be responsible for the promotion of animal health product(s) to a target list of veterinarians to drive brand awareness and increase sales.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key targets within the assigned territory through the utilization of sales skills and superior customer service.
Increase brand recognition and veterinary endorsement through educational seminars and ongoing service support to key accounts.
Independently manage your territory to meet and exceed the overall territory sales quota, and call expectations on veterinarians.
Maintain a thorough knowledge of the competitive climate and inform the Regional Sales Manager of any marketplace news or feedback.
Participate in special projects which may include tradeshows or new product launches.
Ensure all administrative duties such as weekly/monthly activity reporting and expense reporting is completed on a regular basis.
Qualifications:
Previous large animal health sales experience. Farming experience or agricultural background is an asset.
Completed bachelor of science degree, exposure to animal studies is ideal
Ability to travel 40% - 50% of the time to effectively manage a large territory
Professional verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills are a must
Proven time and territory management skills, along with the ability to demonstrate a high level of self-motivation and drive
Valid driver's license and access to vehicle for territory coverage
Computer software literacy and access to Email/Internet & Microsoft Office.
