Seed Sales and Marketing Manager (ID: 1889)

Scope: This is a new position at Cribit Seeds that will offer both managing and implementation opportunities that include building a marketing plan and engaging directly with customers and wholesale accounts. Previous experience in agricultural seed sales or marketing will be advantageous.

This is a salaried position and amenities include: Vehicle, cell phone, office and laptop/tablet.

Responsiblities

Marketing and Agronomy:

1. Co-ordinate, implement or delegate promotion and marketing efforts including

• website
• print ads, assess and organize trade show opportunities
• customer strip trials
• selecting and ordering promotional material

2. Scout grower fields and provide recommendations.

Wholesale Sales:

1. Build a Wholesale marketing plan, including pricing and programs, with guidance from owners, and assistance from support staff
2. Engage with Wholesale accounts.

Direct (Retail) Sales:

1. Understand programs offered by our seed variety providers (DeKalb, SeCan)
2. Build a Cribit Seeds Direct sales program compatible with our Wholesale efforts with assistance from support staff and guidance from owners
3. Train and utilize appropriate Cribit staff.
