What you will do:
Work with boars to collect semen
Animal care including diagnostics and treatment, ear-tagging, de-tusking/trimming
Completing production records, reports and inventory reports
Pressure washing and other general barn maintenance as needed
What you will need:
A very good understanding of strict Bio-Security methods and procedures
A minimum of three years experience working with and around Livestock is a must. Preference will be given to candidates with direct experience in the swine industry.
Works well individually or in a team environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English is a must
Ability to work early mornings is essential
A valid "G" license with their own vehicle to commute to work is also essential
