SYSTEM PRODUCTION MANAGER

About the Position:

We are looking for a System Production Manager to provide leadership to employees at several work sites to achieve excellent, profitable and sustainable results. The position provides daily management and employee supervision for a swine farrow to finish production system with accountability for the production performance of the farm.

Requirements/Education:

• Minimum of a High School Diploma;
• Bachelor in animal science or related agriculture field preferred;
• Three years’ experience in farrow to finish swine production;
• Preference for two years’ experience in supervision/motivation of employees;
• Daily localized travel within the working geography.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Display a high level of professionalism and confidentiality;
• Ability to recognize problems before they occur and take a proactive approach to resolve the issue
• Proven ability to lead by example and positively influence a group of people
• Ability to maintain positive working relationships and support organizational processes and goals.
