EastGen is continuing to build our team and grow our business.  We are currently seeking candidates interested in part-time work as an A.I. Technician providing relief and vacation coverage on a casual, as needed basis.

Location: The service area will be Northumberland, Hastings, Peterborough, Durham Victoria and Prince Edward counties in Eastern Central, Ontario. The ideal candidate will live within a reasonable distance or be willing to relocate within a reasonable distance from the service area.

EastGen is proud of our team of the best trained, most knowledgeable staff in dairy genetics. With the evolution of the dairy industry, reproductive technology is becoming an increasingly important aspect of EastGen’s business and the AI Technician role.  As an EastGen AI Technician you will use our tools, training and technologies to:

• Provide artificial insemination service (A.I.) and sell farm and agri-products;
• Promote current/new products and services to established and potential clients;
• Offer consulting service to breeders answering questions related to reproduction, and,
• Participate in staff development opportunities, and staff/client meetings.

A keen interest in cattle, knowledge and experience in the agriculture industry, breeding experience, physical fitness with acute manual dexterity, excellent organization and time management skills, a valid ‘G’ Ontario driver’s license and clean driving record and flexibility to work rotating schedules, including weekends and holidays are a few of the attributes you bring.
