They are locally owned and operated, serving Southern Ontario. We are recruiting for a Market Research Assistant who has a passion for sustainable agriculture.

Compensation: Negotiable based on experience

What you will do:

Marketing:

• Work with dealers to ensure consistent branding on ad campaigns, marketing material, etc.
• Responsible for creating content and posting company social media across all platforms
• Create company and product brochures
• Attend industry trade shows and field days across Western Canada
• Support feasibility studies and business development strategies
• Work closely and collaboratively with other senior management

Research and Development

• Analyze research data, interpret results and design summary reports.
• Service clients by understanding needs, preparing proposals and presenting research results.
• Design new brochures and enhance existing research materials
• Interpret the strategic significance of research findings

What you will need:

• Technical aptitude and/or experience with social media platforms and the ability to quickly understand and utilize other software packages
• Able to interpret data and understand its relevance to marketing situations.
• Thorough understanding of marketing principles.
• Extensive knowledge of agriculture especially crop protection.
• A strong Team Player
• Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture or equivalent
• Previous design/marketing experience is an asset
• Willingness to travel
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
