The Opportunity: HB Agri Products Inc. is a newly formed joint venture between Highline Mushroom and CENNATEK. The company is in the process of establishing a fertilizer production facility in Bloomfied, Prince Edward County, Ontario. The new facility will be commercializing a process developed by CENNATEK to recycle nutrients from spent mushroom substrate, a waste product from the mushroom growing industry.

We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Sales Manager to take primary responsibility for sales of HB Agri Products Inc. products and services to farm businesses. The position will be located out of the London Office.

Position Overview: Reporting to the Executive Management Team, the Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing the Company's sales strategy to meet targeted sales objectives, and sales margins.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement and manage a sales strategy for fertilizer products
Assist in the development of a marketing plan
Develop sales leads and manage prospects
Penetrate target markets and grow sales of products into new regions
Prepare and analyze sales data and create accurate sales forecasts
Develop excellent business relationships with farmers, agronomic advisors, and distributors
Manage a sales team including the hiring, promotion, and conduct regular performance reviews
Manage the accounts receivables, and client relationship to meet targets
Assist in the development of advertising and promotional content, literature, displays, and packaging
Attend trade-shows, meetings, conferences and exploit opportunities to promote the company and its products

Qualifications:
(5) years of demonstrated successful sales, or sales management experience in agriculture
Certified Crop Advisor designation or related experience
Must be highly motivated and energetic to develop of new market
Excellent interpersonal, communication, sales and leadership skills
University Degree in Agriculture or Commerce
Demonstrated ability to manage sales staff and provide leadership and coaching
Demonstrated problem solving, decision making, and organizational skills
Strong leadership skills developed through previous experience in leadership positions
Must poses a valid class G driver s license
