Agricultural Equipment Operator/Mechanic (ID: 3583)

Guntensperger Farm Services is a custom solid manure application business located in Seaforth ON. We are expanding our business to be able to serve our customers better. This is the perfect opportunity for a career oriented individual that is looking for a position with more responsibility.

This job requires Operation of Custom Manure Applicating Equipment (Tractor and Manure Spreader, Loader). Applicant is responsible for maintenance and care of equipment when not in use. Overtime is required in spring and fall. Must be able to understand and use precision farming technology (auto steer & calculate application rate.). Must be a team player and able to work with others. Other responsibilities include repairing and maintaining equipment as well as other tasks around the shop.

Welding experience would be an asset but not required.
Farming background would be an asset but not required
Willing to train the right candidate.
Must have a valid Drivers License
**Must provide own transportation to work.
Compensation is based on experience - $18 - $20/hour to start
