Job Summary
There is currently a position open for a full-time agriculture farm equipment and sprayer operator. Minimum 40 hours per week, however hours will vary depending on the season and daily requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a self-propelled sprayer. A willingness to work long hours, including nights and weekends during the busy seasons is a must. The candidate will be expected to work diligently with strong attention to detail, independently and as part of a team.
Description/Responsibilities
Cropping operations including seeding, spraying, harvesting, etc.
Operation of heavy farm machinery in a safe manner
Precision ag set up
Farm equipment and machinery preparation for seeding and harvesting
Workshop maintenance
General service, cleaning and maintaining of farm equipment, vehicles, etc.
Complete domestic duties when required, e.g. rubbish removal, mowing lawn, snow removal, etc.
Striving for continuous improvement

Minimum 40 hours per week

Requirements
Previous experience working on a cash crop farm
Drivers license and a clean driver abstract
Experience safely operating and maintaining farm equipment
Computer savvy
Demonstrated ability to carry out directions and tasks diligently
Good problem solving skills
Strong attention to detail
Reliable, self-motivated
AZ Licence an asset
Sprayer operator licence an asset
