Meunier Stock Farms is seeking a progressive, enthusiastic, and hard-working individual who aspires to make ranching a career.  We are seeking someone well acquainted with Management Intensive Grazing, Bud Williams Low Stress Animal handling, electric fencing (temporary & permanent), and is a competent horse rider.  We are not looking for a cowboy to ride pastures!  This position is full time and long term with the expectation that the person will train to replace the ranch manager in 3-5yrs.  Starting salary is $45K/yr with housing and beef included.

Specific Duties: calving a May 1^st cow herd, building & maintaining electric fence, ensuring good herd health of cow herd & yearlings, bale grazing, swath grazing, helping to pen check in the feedlot during the winter, operate a tractor and off road vehicle, maintain a grazing chart, keep ranch buildings & supplies organized, maintain herd & grass records.

The Ranch: family owned 6000ac ranch located near Cherhill, Alberta.  We currently graze cow/calf, breeding heifers, and stockers.
