Assistant Farm Manager
Job Description-
The Assistant farm manager will work directly and coordinate day to day worker activities, such as planting, irrigation, application of fertilizer and nutrient application, harvesting, and packaging. You will be learning the various aspects of the business as well as assigned projects that align with our operational needs.
Wage- $20-28
Job Responsibilities-
-Assisting in the planning and execution of:
o Planting of Fruit, vegetables, Corn, Soybean, Rye
o Irrigation of Fruit, vegetables, Corn Soybean, Rye
o Growing Fruit, vegetables, Corn, Soybean, Rye
-Food Safety paperwork completed from field to office
-Regular cleaning of equipment, packing facilities
-Inspections on all equipment and buildings to make sure we are following all protocols
-Proper documentation of field activities ie. spraying and fertilizer applications
-Sanitation requirements
-Co-operate the health and safety program
- Assisting in special projects such as:
o Facility renovations
o Planning the growing of new crops.
o Minor machinery modification
-May be required to operate farm machinery
