Our client based in Onalaska, Wisconsin, L.B. White Company, Inc., is the world’s leading manufacturer of heating solutions for live animal production facilities and manufactures a full line of natural gas, propane and kerosene-fueled heaters for construction, tent and greenhouse markets.
The company is seeking a Canada Territory Sales Representative that will be responsible for achieving the sales goals of L.B. White Company (LBW) in Canada in the Construction Rental/Supply, Greenhouse, Poultry/Swine sales channels. The Sales Representative will report to our Global V.P. of Sales.
The successful candidate will complete an in-depth training program comprised of training at L.B. White headquarters in Wisconsin and in the field with our Regional Sales Managers. L.B. White pays for all travel-related expenses and provides a computer and smartphone. L.B. White Company offers a competitive compensation and benefits package.
POSITION DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES
Add new, profitable customers and grow sales to existing customers
Grow sales in the territory by calling on Swine, Poultry, and Greenhouse equipment distributors
Develop and maintain key relationships at the Integrator and end-user levels to influence decision-making process regarding the specification and purchase of LBW products
Visit swine and poultry live production facilities and greenhouses as necessary
Work in partnership with independent sales reps and key distributors
Manage the relationship with Canadian master distributor based in Vancouver, BC and promote growth in the Canadian Construction Channel
Become an expert on LBW products and conduct training and sales presentations
Be a conduit of market information for LBW development purposes
Use CRM to manage leads, prospects and project pipeline
EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION
Minimum 5 years direct sales experience with a proven track record of success
Experience selling animal confinement and/or Greenhouse equipment is a must
Experience in the construction equipment rental channel is a plus
Resides in the greater Toronto area
Strong technical aptitude
Excellent interpersonal skills
Self-motivated and able to work independently
A 4-year college degree is a requirement
The ability to speak French is a plus
Strong desire to have a career with a winning team
