Crop Input Sales Representative (2613) - Filled
Our Client is a fairly new start up in the seed, fertility, weed, insect and disease control business. They already have an established customer base and they are looking to grow their business further. They require a Customer Service Sales Representative. You will meet with clients and develop strategies and plans for their crop needs. You will then do follow ups during the crop season to observe whether goals are being met.
What you will need:
A good understanding of modern farming practices.
Good observation skills in field crops.
A strong desire to learn and improve.
Good public relation skills.
Other assets that would be helpful:
Experience operating a sprayer.
Personal experience growing your own crops.
Prior Sales experience.
A good understanding of both the Mennonite and Dutch farming culture.
Some agronomy training, an Ag degree, diploma or CCA
What you will do:
Meet with clients and develop strategies and plans for their crop needs.
Follow up with clients during the crop season to observe whether goals are being met.
Maintain a positive relationship with all customers.
Build relationships with new customers.
Promote and sell all of the company's products and services.
