Holmes Agro requires a full-time person to fill the following position at our Orangeville location:
Crop Protection Admin Lead
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Positive team first attitude to allow you to excel in a fast-paced team environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to allow you to work well with customers, suppliers and co-workers
- Willing to work seasonably long hours in spring and fall
- Good Agronomy knowledge, CCA would be considered an asset
- Customer service oriented with above average telephone and communication skills
- Strong computer skills, good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, and willing to learn company software
The position will have the following responsibilities:
- Working with customers and staff in an orderly and efficient manner
- Daily processing of sales orders and invoices, and customer payments
- Leading dispatch and inventory management
- Work closely with Crop Protection purchaser to meet customers requirements and manage inventory effectively
- Primary point of contact for walk in customers and telephone calls
- General office duties including mail, bank deposits, and ordering supplies
- Participating in and promoting a positive team environment
- Assisting with inventory counts and reconciliations
