A Full Time Permanent Herdsperson Opportunity is now available for two successful family operated dairy farms located side by side one is an established top managed 225 milking cow dairy the second is a new 30 milking cow dairy both clean, high quality farms with free stalls and milking parlors.  This position requires a person who has a genuine interest in farming, with the ability to monitor and motivate a team,    while becoming  involved with the day to day management of herd health.

Duties include: Overseeing the operations in the owners absence.  Milking cows, monitoring and recording calf, heifer, and cow health records.  Detect and treat basic herd health needs. Communicate with management and all team members.  Operating a skid steer and other farm equipment, and numerous daily tasks to complete the chores of milking, feeding and cleaning up of  farm.

Wages will be commensurate to experience.
