FARM MANAGER

Cuddy Farms is seeking an individual who is ready to grow their career in the Poultry industry. We are searching for a qualified and ambitious individual to directly supervise and manage one of our production farms to ensure its smooth operation and profitability. The selected individual will be required to live in a company house located in the Strathroy area.

Essential job functions:

Effective Production of Top Quality Hatching Egg

• Provide leadership, direction and development to employees
• Create a working environment that enhances employee performance and retention
• Promotes a culture of safety
• Maintains all Facilities in Excellent Condition
• Defends Flock and Farm Biosecurity
• Completes all administration requirements
• Other duties as required

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• 5 years plus leadership experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work flexible hours, weekends and holidays as needed
• Must have the ability to make sound judgement and good decisions skills
• Ability to trouble shoot and problem solve with farming equipment
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Outlook applications
