To support Husky operations by taking responsibility for general accounting oversight and coordination as well as critical business functions including Human Resources and Health & Safety.
Duties will include: Overseeing company accounting procedures including working with A/R and A/P staff to accurately record financial transactions as well as completing all year-end and tax filing requirements in conjunction with our accountant. Coordinating with customers to ensure timely payment of all funds owed. Managing all Human Resources functions including payroll, on boarding and employee engagement. Ensuring registration and filing requirements are met for all necessary regulatory organizations ( e.g. WSIB, HWIN, EHT etc.) Staying up to date with current regulatory requirement with regards to Health and Safety and Human Resources (e.g. MOE, MOL, WHMIS etc.) as well as assisting in policy development and training implementation to comply with requirements and best practices.
If you meet the following requirements, we would love to chat with you about joining our team: Finance, Health & Safety and Human Resources experience. Knowledge of general accounting procedures and best practices. Knowledge of accounting and office computer programs including Quick Books, Microsoft Office and Easy Pay Payroll. Familiar with manufacturing training certifications including Working At Heights, Confined Space Entry and Forklift Operation. Self-directed, organized and able to solve problems, all with a positive attitude.
