What can I expect to do in this role?
As a GIS Officer, you will:
• collaborate as a member of a program team in diverse roles through various projects
• provide GIS solutions to support high end geospatial analysis and modeling for the delivery of programs and projects
• assist the program team to guide clients in determining, designing and delivering data products or applications to support standardized and consistent approaches to data management and products within specified and agreed upon timelines
• perform GIS and computer programming to support the development of database and data storage designs and solutions
• facilitate work with other Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR) program areas including Land and Resources I&IT Cluster to ensure appropriate administration, maintenance and support while assisting in troubleshooting and recommending solutions
• assist with technical support to MNR staff, regional sections, districts and external clients

Joignez-vous à notre équipe d'experts techniques passionnés, axés sur le client, et assurez le leadership et le soutien d'un large éventail d'activités de gestion des ressources et de clients à l'échelle de la province.
Quelles seront mes fonctions dans ce poste?
À titre d'agent des SIG, vous devrez :
• collaborer en tant que membre d'une équipe de programme, dans divers rôles et pour divers projets;
• fournir des solutions SIG pour soutenir l'analyse et la modélisation géospatiales de haut niveau dans le cadre de l'exécution de programmes et de projets;
• aider l'équipe de programme à guider les clients dans la détermination, la conception et la fourniture de produits ou d'applications de données pour soutenir des approches normalisées et cohérentes de la gestion des données et des produits dans les délais indiqués et convenus;
• effectuer des programmes pour les SIG et faire de la programmation informatique pour soutenir le développement de bases de données ainsi que les conceptions et les solutions en matière de stockage de données;
• faciliter le travail avec d'autres secteurs de programme du ministère des Richesses naturelles (MRN), y compris le Groupement ITI pour les terres et les ressources, afin d'assurer une administration, une maintenance et un soutien appropriés, tout en contribuant au dépannage et à la recommandation de solutions;
• apporter un soutien technique au personnel du MRN, aux sections régionales, aux districts et aux clients externes.
