Manufacturing divisions within the company include Mount Forest and the head office located in Tavistock.

Job Title: HACCP Manager
Employment Status: Fulltime, approx. 40 hours /week

Purpose:
To maintain, verify and validate Quality Assurance Programs.

Essential Duties:

• Responsible for coordinating and maintaining company HACCP and Organic programs.
• Responsible for ensuring feed tags are in compliance with CFIA regulations.
• Develop, amend and maintain HACCP plans and SOPs, as required.
• Coordinate with team members about HACCP standards.
• Perform audits and work with the CFIA.
• Maintain corrective actions.
• Perform record reviews and on-site verifications.
• Support operations personnel to ensure compliance with all quality requirements.
• Observe SOPs and work with production staff to implement improvements.
• Work with Human Resources to make sure all employees are properly trained in all quality and regular production procedures.

Credentials and Experience:

• Experience in the agricultural or feed industry
• Experience with Quality Assurance programs

Special Requirements:

• Unusual work hours may be necessary to complete tasks
• Full Knowledge of GMPs and HACCP principles and programs
• Practical experience with HACCP, SOP’s and GMPs
• 2 – 3 years experience working in food safety and quality assurance
