Who You Are:
Possess a background in agriculture, specifically in animal health and feed
Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and believe in applying a collaborative approach to sales
Able to provide valuable insight and recommendations to customers with small ruminants, equine, and beef feed requirements
Believe that learning never stops and always looking to improve your knowledge and skillset
You approach what you do with energy and drive, but you understand the importance of adaptability, too
A multi-tasking pro, you’re able to support a number of customers and activities with ease
Understand the importance of adding value in sales and able to apply critical thinking to determine new solutions to customer needs
What You Will Do:
Work closely with management team to support products and services offered by the NWC Feed division
Provide support, direction, and technical expertise to store staff regarding the sale of feed and animal health products
Provide support to the Feed Truck Driver and others regarding logistics, product selection, and inventory control
Develop and implement effective marketing plans and sales strategies to meet company goals
Provide professional customer and sales service to existing and new customers
Identify and call on prospective customers, prepare written proposals and quotations to new and existing customers
Create and manage customer value plans by providing value-added feed products and services, including product demonstrations and recommendations to assist them in selecting those best suited to their needs
Reviews producer operations to ensure they utilize the appropriate management and economic solutions, collects feed and grain samples using proper procedures and identifies sources of on-farm grains for purchase by NWC
Maintains current knowledge of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising, and promotional trends
