The Maintenance Worker will be located in Seaforth, Ontario and will focus on maintenance of plant operations, labour, and quality control. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and within a team environment, while demonstrating sound mechanical aptitude.
The Maintenance Worker is responsible for, but not limited to the following:
Performing work in all weather conditions
Performing general maintenance work to avoid possible failures and malfunctions
Assisting in developing preventive and corrective maintenance programs
Analyzing repairs and troubleshooting to find root issues
Handling emergency maintenance and repair work
Maintaining complete records of daily maintenance activities
Maintaining a clean, safe and organized work area
Maintaining the maintenance tools and equipment in safe, clean good working conditions
Providing assistance to co-workers when needed
Adhering to company policies, safety regulations and OSHA requirements
Assisting with labor duties as required throughout the facility when maintenance is not required
Other Ad-hoc duties as required
Qualifications:
Welding/ brazing knowledge an asset Ability to research and solve problems with proper decision-making skills
Knowledge of the agricultural industry standards and procedures
Strong organizational, entrepreneurial, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work with many different departments, and with all levels of management and staff to assist everyone in achieving their goals
Clear and strong communication skills
Strong people skills
Mechanically inclined
