Milking Equipment Service Technician (ID: 1446)

Partner Ag Service provides equipment solutions, supplies and service to livestock farmer southern Ontario. Working out of Tara, Ontario we sell and service equipment from BouMatic, BouMatic Robotics, Valmetal, Jamesway, Rovibec and other farm equipment suppliers.
In order to better serve our growing customer base, we are looking for a dynamic and technically strong individual to join our team in the roll of service / installation technician. The primary focus of this position is in the dairy side of our business.
Reports To: Service Manager

Key responsibilities:

• Test and repair of equipment at our customers site
• Provide start-up and commissioning at our customers site
• Provide operating and maintenance training for customer where required
• Provide customers with telephone support for trouble shooting
• Other duties as assigned by the Service Manager

To accomplish this successfully, a dairy service technician will:

• Provide the best solutions to most efficiently repair or maintain our customers milking, feeding or manure handling equipment
• Continually develop your technical knowledge by attending internal and industry related training and workshops; reviewing professional publications
• Develop a working knowledge of our multiple product lines
• Attend trade shows as required
• Conduct all business and personal affairs in a professional and ethical way

Qualifications:
A positive attitude with a strong understanding of the importance of customer satisfaction. Industry experience preferred but not required. Experience in the dairy sector would be a plus. General computer knowledge, good written and oral communication skills are essential. Ability to bring a high level of energy to our great team, and a desire to grow and develop your skills
