We are a full Line New Holland dealer offering quality Sales, Parts and Service for the New Holland line as well as an impressive line of other agricultural equipment. The Jasper location is one of 2 locations with the other being Smiths Equipment Centre in Smiths Falls which sells and services the full Kawasaki line of power sports, Huqsvarna tractors-saws-handheld equipment, Crestliner fishing boats powered by Mercury, G3 & Suncatcher pontoon boats powered by Yamaha and a full line of utility and cargo trailers.

Smiths Farm Equipment Limited is looking for a Parts Counter Person for our Jasper location.

Reporting to the Parts Manager, this position is responsible for selling parts to all available customers, over the retail counter, through the shop, or on the telephone.

Main Responsibilities:

• Sell and invoice parts to customers.
• Assist customers in selecting required parts, suggest additional needed parts, promote specials, and ensure that the customer is exposed to the full product line.
• Work with technicians to provide parts accurately and efficiently.
• Answer telephones and provide quotes to customers.
• Source parts from aftermarket vendors.
• Assist in Physical inventory reconciling.
• Comply with all relevant Health and Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures.
• Expected to have a positive attitude and promote a healthy work environment.
• Assist in other areas of Parts Department as required; cores, shipping and receiving.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

• Completion of Secondary School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in Agricultural industry is preferred/asset. But automotive experience is also an asset
• Good communication & customer service skills
• Good computer skills are necessary.
• Criminal Record Check, valid driver s license and Drivers Abstract may be required
