Part Time Dairy Herds Person

FNK Dairy is a successful Dairy/Cropping operation just west of Listowel. This dynamic family farm operation requires a Part Time Dairy Herds Person.

What you'll do:

• Help milk two nights a week from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm and every other weekend.
• Work with all pieces of dairy equipment required for a Double 16 Parlour.
• Take care of all equipment as if it was your own.
• Work side by Side with family team members.
• Ensure the continuing success of this operation.

What you'll need:

• The desire to be a great herds person.
• The desire to take care of the animals.
• The drive to look ahead and see what work needs to be done.
• The ability to work with computers, smart phones and tablets.
• A love of dairy animals.

Part Time Dairy Herds Person

Permanent Part Time job involves all aspects related to the milking operations in a busy dairy barn. Duties include milking, monitoring herd health and cleaning dairy equipment.   Willing to train but experience would be an asset.  Non-smokers preferred. Starting wage based on experience.
