This technical position will develop business relationships with farming customers and promote precision agriculture innovation, products and consulting services within a specified territory (SW Ontario) to enhance their farm customers efficiency and profitability.

Job Responsibilities:
Provide recommendations and solutions to meet customers needs with a focus on precision planning and robotic solutions .
Travel throughout assigned territory using a planned call strategy with existing and prospective customers to promote products and services.
Display or demonstrate products, services and effective precision agronomic and robotics solutions based on customers individual needs.
Keep customers informed of changing technology, market trends and farming practices.
Provide an exceptional customer experience at every interaction.
Arrange and attend information meetings for producers.
As required, give presentations/ demonstrations to producers outlining the benefits of implementing products and services.
Ability to support precision planning including robotics, GIS mapping, soil sampling, and interpreting the GIS data for customers.
In collaboration with the sales and management, compile lists of existing and prospective customers.
Prepare and submit reports of business transactions, customer profiles, farm calls and competitive activity on a weekly basis and prepare activity planning reports for the next week.
Keep abreast of changing Agronomy, Digital Agriculture, Ag Robotics and related markets and make recommendations to producer.
Keep informed of new technology developments as they pertain to farming practices to increase the profitability of each farming operation.
Attends training and product knowledge meetings as may periodically be required.
Maintain and update CRM on a regular basis.
Obtain credit applications and other supporting information as required to permit prompt handling of new account applications.
Understanding and supporting overall branch operation as well as the company and individual sales targets.
Job Requirements:
University or college degree or equivalent years of experience preferably in agriculture technology and/or agri-business
Demonstrated expertise in precision farming sales, agriculture robotics and crop planning.
Travel as required, with a valid G license or higher (a sales vehicle may be provided).
