Atwood Farm supplies Ltd is a full service crop input business serving Perth County and surrounding area.  Atwood Farm supplies Ltd is an Agrico Canada joint venture supplying fertilizer, crop protection products, seed, agronomic advice and custom application to local farmers.

We are recruiting a full-time PROFESSIONAL APPLICATOR to join our team at Atwood Farm supplies.

Job Description

The successful candidate will operate custom application equipment for the application of fertilizer and/or chemicals to customer's fields in a safe, accurate, efficient and timely manner. This is a full-time position with the opportunity to start immediately or could be seasonal for the right candidate.

Job duties

- Responsible for accurate application of products as per work order.

- Fill out and maintain accurate application logs

- Supervise drivers in product transfer procedures.

- Clean and maintain equipment according to maintenance schedule.

- Ability to work long hours in season as well as weekends.

- Willing to perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor

- Work safely and follow company procedures and policies.

- Interact with customers in a professional manner.

Requirements

DZ license (or willing to obtain) with good driving record

Agricultural Exterminators license or willing to acquire

Basic understanding of agriculture and a mechanical aptitude would be an asset
