Pestell Minerals and Ingredients is a leading distributor of minerals, feed ingredients, salts, specialty feed additives, fertilizers and a variety of other ingredients for feed and fertilizer manufacturers. As our rapid growth continues, we are searching for a leader to continuously evolve our Sales capabilities in the USA:
The Role:
Is accountable for achieving the sales margin targets with feed and fertilizer customers in the USA
Works with Sales Manager to develop sales strategies and programs
Identifies and develops new customer opportunities within the feed industry
Ensures customer inquiries and concerns are handled in a timely manner
Conducts meetings and customer visits with our manufacturer representatives
Assists with promotions and other marketing activities including trade show and industry event participation
Works with purchasing and logistics to determine costing and utilizes to calculate quotes for customers
Monitors sales performance and provides status updates and other reporting documents
Monitors market and competitive environments
Provides focused and productive communication within the sales department, within the company and with our clients;
Provides ongoing support to other members of the sales and customer service team as well as
Travel required throughout the USA
The Person:

Possesses a strong customer service orientation by consistently and successfully responding to sales opportunities and customer needs.
Is highly analytical, well organized and is a clear and concise communicator.
Possesses a positive and professional personal and corporate image at all times.
Holds a business or agriculture degree/diploma or equivalent experience
Brings at least 5years of sales success in an account management role ideally in the feed and/or fertilizer industries
Has knowledge of international food/feed ingredients, related commodity or chemical markets.
Has experience working remotely and maintaining a home office and based out of the Midwest USA
Experience working in Safe Feed-Safe Food regulatory frameworks would be an asset
