Redtrac International is a full service equipment dealership specializing in agricultural, residential, fruit and vegetable and construction equipment. Redtrac is a dealer for CaseIH, Agco and JCB in the Niagara Peninsula. Redtrac is part of the D&W Group, a four store complex of dealerships serving Brant, Haldimand – Norfolk, Oxford, Niagara and Waterloo Counties.

Responsibilities:
Sells equipment in a defined territory
Directs the salesmen to maximize sales and profits within their assigned territory.
Ensures that the contact management system is set up and maintained with each salesman including himself.
Recommends orders for inventory for specific equipment to the other store managers.
Approves all wholegoods orders and coordinates orders with the other stores
Approves trade-in values in conjunction with the General Manager and recommends write-downs to the Management Committee as required
Administers the payroll for the sales staff by ensuring that information is provided to accounting in a timely fashion.
Holds weekly sales meetings with sales staff to communicate sales activity
Reports to the Management Committee, on a monthly basis, results to date and any other important issues
Reviews the performance of the Sales Department with the Group Co-ordinator or the Management Committee when requested.
Manages staffing levels.
Ensures that the store’s wholegoods inventories are properly stored and secure and that wholegoods inventories are tagged, priced and the inventory is rotated.
Works with the Group Coordinator to recruit, develop and train staff.
Develops an advertising/marketing plan including demonstrations, clinics and shows with the Group Coordinator in conjunction with the other stores to ensure maximum participation from supplier’s co-op programs.
Personally makes wholegoods calls to customers to promote Redtrac, to close sales and monitor customer satisfaction.
Attends and participates at D&W sales meetings or supplier sales meetings (includes flying to some meetings).
Takes responsibility for the overall appearance of the sales staff, their vehicles, new and used equipment and promotional material.
Promotes teamwork between departments and between stores. Works harmoniously with the other Sales Managers in the D&W Group
