Sales & Service Support Specialist
Our Client is a leading global agricultural equipment manufacturer. Their mission is to evolve farming further through a creation of ingenious seeding, planting and tillage equipment. Their team is fueled by an aggressive, entrepreneurial spirit and a strong drive to create innovative farming tools that improve grower profit. They are expanding and require a Sales & Service Support Specialist.
Summary:
Responsible to work with sales promotions such as sales training, product training and other methods to promote sales in assigned markets. Responsible for the launch process regarding new products and intercept customer preferences. Liaison between the Sales/Service team and R&D / Manufacturing / Marketing. Develop, track, and report on key performance measurements including productivity and quality reports for technical support. Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and goal attainment. Investigates and works to resolve customer problems and complaints.
What you will do:
Ensure the sales and product training are designed, planned and implemented
Produce the best sales support material and training package on the market, ensure relevant market. material is available and sales training is arranged
Participate in exhibitions and customer events
Participate in launching new products
Contribute with material for brochures, campaigns, web and advertisements
Responsible for updating product pages on the web
Responds to inquiries from customers, administrators, service providers, site personnel and outside vendors, etc. to provide technical assistance and support
What you need:
Experience with agricultural equipment
Familiarity and experience with farming practices
Technically understands the products
Post-secondary education in Agriculture is preferred
Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with corporate departments, key business partners, and customers
Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills
Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
Ability to coordinate and organize meetings, exhibits, and other events
Experience in ag electronics
Work Conditions:
Up to 50% travel both domestically and internationally
Ability to attend and conduct presentations
Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals
Overtime as required.
