We do sales, installation and service for the dairy, hog, and grain handling industries.
In order to better serve our expanding business, we are currently looking for the right person to fill the role of Service/Installation Manager at our Granton location.
The position of Service / Installation Manager was established for the purpose of planning, administering and executing the business activities of Avonbank AG Solutions General Service and Installation Department. He/she designs and implements efficient processes to ensure smooth business operations and will be required to assist in the creation of training programs and generation of financial reports, development of health and safety policies, employee evaluations and the enforcement of disciplinary measures.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and schedule the overall installation/service of equipment based on specifications and guidelines provided, ensuring the right resources are in place to meet targets dates.
Supervise and schedule installation/service crews, ensuring that they have a clear understanding of the work to be done and ensure they meet the target dates.
Manage communication flow between the Sales representative and the installers
Enforce health and safety policies.
Report job status to management and sales representatives on a regular basis.
Receive service requests from customers, prioritize jobs and adjust schedules accordingly
Qualifications:
Experience with management and scheduling of service/install crews.
Project management experience an asset.
Mechanically inclined with strong problem solving skills.
Experience with agricultural equipment considered an asset.
Self-motivated, reliable and able to work independently and in a team environment.
Ability to provide high quality work in a fast-paced environment in time-effective manner.
Must have strong organization, prioritization and time management skills
Valid drivers licence with a clean driving record required.
