tree farm worker (ID: 1602)

farm workers required at established tree farm near Cookstown / Bradford area (Ontario)

Full time seasonal from April 6th to end of November (April-end June 6days 60hrs+/week ; July-Nov 5days 52hrs/week)

Duties include (by not limited to): digging trees, tying trees, loading potted plants, potting / planting trees and shrubs, pruning, hand weeding and other farm related jobs.

Successful applicants will; have a good work ethic, have previous experience working outdoors, enjoy working outside in all weather conditions, work well in a team setting, be physically capable doing repetitive lifting of 3kg to 10kg items, be self motivated to work in a production oriented nursery tree farm environment.

Valid G license, previous farm equipment experience, pesticide safety certificate, would be an added value asset
