Trouw Nutrition is hiring… our plant in Moncton, NB is looking for a Truck Driver to provide efficient and timely delivery of bulk feed and assist with other feed mill operations.
A DAY IN THE LIFE…
Deliver loads of feed as assigned
Vehicle care and maintenance; Performs daily pre-trip and weekly truck/trailer inspections
Maintains accurate logbook
Performs all paperwork according to business requirements
REQUIRED SKILLS
AZ/Class 1 drivers’ license with clean driver’s abstract and 3 to 5 years of experience. Experience on rural roads, remote locations an asset
Must be well organized and be able to work well individually and as part of a team
Mechanical aptitude including basic understanding of mechanical, hydraulics, and piping systems and knowledge of various machines and tools including their use, repair, and maintenance
Displays a high level of initiative, effort, and commitment towards completing assignments efficiently
Positive work ethic and attitude; willingness and ability to be coached and learn. Demonstrate a commitment to customer service
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Bend and twist. Requires static strength to lift, push, pull, or carry 25kg bags of feed. Some tasks involve repetitive motion
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
GOOD TO KNOW
Must be able to pass criminal background check
Available to work on calls
Maintain required licenses, physicals, etc. necessary to perform job requirements
