I am Harsha Keerthirathne, an experienced farm worker with about 5 years of on-field experience. I am writing this letter for finding out a good dairy farming job in Canada. As I heard and seen in the internet, you are considered as good and experience consultant agency. I have enclosed my resume for your perusal and further scrutiny.
During the past 5 years of experience, I have handled different work responsibilities such as milking, feeding cattle, and even farm sanitation.
At present I am working in one of the New Zealand dairy farms, located in the South Island where 850 cows are milked through 54 bail rotary. Previously, I worked in Sri Lankan government own commercial dairy farm where 300 cows were milked through 12 by 12 herrings bone parlour. I have also taken my initial dairy farm practices from the south Asian largest dairy farm, namely Ridiyagama farm, Sri Lanka where 3200 cows were intensively managed and milk through two 48 side by side automated parlour.
I can operate different farm vehicles and equipment such as tractors, two wheelers and etc. and I hold a valid driver’s license also; my knowledge of different farm practices helps me to ensure that cattle get quality feeding and ensure quality milk production. Experience has also imbibed in me the ability to carry out general mending and tending works.
My education include a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Animal Science and Fisheries from University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka and a Master of Science degree in Animal Science from Postgraduate Institute of Agriculture, Sri Lanka. Both degrees were completed in English medium and the institutes are no one ranked institute of the country.
