I’m Niko Nummela from Finland and I am studying agricultutural sciences at the University of Helsinki. I am searching for a farm to do my agricultural training next summer.
I’m from Luvia which locates at the western coast of Finland at the Satakunta region. Luvia is a small town with roughly 3000 residents. We have a 400 hectare crop farm and grow winter/spring wheat, barley, oats and rye. The farm is a family farm and almost all the work is done by my dad, my brother and I. On our farm we have four New holland tractors. Our combine is also NH. I have also worked three summer lifting peat at peat bogs. There I drove mostly Valtra and John Deere tractors and Volvo and Kobelco excavators.
After graduating high school in 2022 I did my military service. I served as a truck driver for a year. This fall I moved to Helsinki and started my studies at the University of Helsinki studying agricultural sciences
The training period would be from the beginning of May or end of April to the end of October so 6 months. Please contact me for any additional information.
