As a Master of Plant Agriculture (M.P.Ag) student at the University of Guelph, I am seeking a summer internship opportunity that allows me to apply my academic knowledge and field experience in either agriculture research, crop production, or agri-business development. I am particularly interested in roles that involve field crop operations, plant breeding programs, sustainable production systems, GIS and data-driven decision-making, or agri-business strategy including market research, client engagement, or farm management planning.
With a strong foundation in agronomy, crop management, and business development, along with hands-on experience as an Agronomy Assistant and Senior Business Development Associate, I am prepared to contribute to both technical fieldwork and analytical tasks. I bring a unique mix of agricultural science and commercial insight, supported by projects in sustainable agriculture, precision farming, and market expansion initiatives.
I am open to opportunities in research institutions, seed companies, agri-tech startups, cooperatives, government agencies, or farms that focus on crop improvement, production optimization, agri-business solutions, or sustainability. I’m also keen to assist in data analysis, training/resource development, and stakeholder communications.
Overall, I aim to gain practical experience that complements my academic learning, strengthens my technical and communication skills, and prepares me for a career in agriculture innovation or agri-business leadership.
