Outdoor and Greenhouse Farm Operator - Cultivation (ID: 5675)

We are looking for a hands-on Outdoor Farm Operator to manage day-to-day cultivation activities at our 25 acre outdoor agricultural site in Mirabel. This is an operational leadership role for someone with real farming experience who understands how to run a field efficiently from soil prep to harvest.

This is not a desk position — the ideal candidate is comfortable operating equipment, supervising field crews, solving problems in real time, and executing a structured cultivation plan.

Core Responsibilities

• Execute seasonal cultivation plan (soil prep, planting, crop care, harvest)

• Oversee irrigation setup, maintenance, and scheduling

• Monitor crop health and implement pest and nutrient programs

• Supervise and coordinate farm labour staff

• Operate and maintain farm equipment

• Track daily field activity and production metrics

• Maintain compliance with applicable agricultural standards

Required Experience

• 2+ years hands-on outdoor farming experience

• Experience managing crop cycles in Quebec climate

• Strong knowledge of irrigation systems and soil management

• Experience supervising small farm teams

• Mechanically inclined (equipment operation & troubleshooting)

• Reliable, disciplined, and comfortable working long seasonal hours
