Our Client is a large and successful Crop Protection and Nutrient Management operation located in Wellington County. They pride themselves in providing all inclusive services to customers in order to keep their crops healthy and weed free from start to finish. They are seeking an experienced Farm Equipment Operator ideally with a valid AZ license to join their team. If you are a self-motivated team-player, and have experience with operating large modern farm equipment then we would like to talk to you about this great opportunity!

What you will do:

• Take an active role in the operation and become an important part of the team.
• Operate large modern farm equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Receiving, sorting, and delivering seed orders. (When not operating machinery)
• Maintaining machinery as needed and keeping the shop area neat and tidy.
• Willing to work extended hours during busy seasons.
• Take initiative to suggest improvements and find work that needs to get done.

What you will need:

• 2+ years of experience operating large modern farm sprayer equipment is required
• Experience working on a cash crop (soybeans, corn, wheat, etc.) farm is an asset.
• Experience using GPS systems in farm equipment operation is an asset (specifically John Deere)
• A valid Canadian AZ Driver’s license, with a clean record is an asset.
• An exterminator license is required. We will help you obtain that if you don’t have one.
