Our client is a leader in commercial grain industry with over 6,000 member-owners and more than 30 available locations in Ontario and Manitoba in food products (edible dry beans and food grade soybeans), grain and ingredient marketing, energy (fuel and propane), animal nutrition and global freight forwarding and logistics.
They are looking for a Field Marketer at their established area based in South Western Ontario.
Job Responsibilities:
Commercial grains procurement
Maintain, prospect, and build on crop retail opportunities for seed, fertilizer, and crop protection
Recommend agronomic solutions through farm calls, grower niche meetings etc.
Establish and attain annual sales budgets
Maintain regular contact with customers to ensure satisfaction and to capitalize on opportunities
Complete and maintain accurate paperwork for all contracts
Job Requirements:
Ability to work well in both a team setting and individually with minimal supervision
Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
Ability to meet tight deadlines for sales targets and special projects
Strong agricultural background and knowledge
Ability to perform all sales related tasks

Required Qualifications:
Post-Secondary degree/diploma in Agriculture
At least 2 years of experience in Ag - Retail Business
CCA designation preferred or willingness to obtain
Valid Ontario Driver’s License
Compensation and benefits:
Salary: depends on experience level, 65k to 85k
Benefits: standard 100% coverage medical insurance
vacation: 2 weeks vacation to start, 3 weeks after 1 year, 4 weeks after 5 years.
