Together, the network annually shares over 200 million pounds of essential safe, quality food; provides social programs that help to foster self-sufficiency and advocates for policy changes that will help create a Canada where no one goes hungry.
About the Role
The Manager, Sustainable Food Programs works closely and collaboratively with agricultural and agri-food industry partners, stakeholders, and the food bank network, in managing the development of national food acquisition programs. This role is responsible for managing Food Banks Canada’s food transformation efforts across Canada to provide access to on-going sustainable food sources with a focus on increasing the quality, quantity, and overall value of nutritious food shared with the network.
Note: This is a full-time, remote position available on a 12-month contract to start with the likelihood of an extended contract or permanent opportunity becoming available after the 12 months expires.
