Hours: 40-50 hours

Our client is currently seeing an experience hardworking individual that has the necessary skills as a Full-time Poultry Farm Manager.

Job Description:

• Primary responsibilities include (but not limited to) day to day management of chickens.
• Monitoring bird performance.
• Barn setup and barn clean-out and disinfection.
• Operating equipment (mainly loader and tractor).
• As well as facility and equipment maintenance.

Additional Requirements:

• Experience in the field of animal husbandry is desirable.
• A Bachelor Degree in Agriculture and/or extensive related experience is an asset.
• Available to work overtime during heavy workload periods.
• The ideal candidate will have 3+ years industry experience.
• Mechanically inclined with strong problem solving skills.
• Self-motivated, reliable and able to work in a team environment.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.

The successful candidate must be conscientious, punctual and reliable while practicing safe work habits at all times.
