What you will do:
Install and service robotics milking equipment within client dairy operations. We also repair and service any existing equipment to ensure that farming operations continue to run smoothly and worry free.
Duties and responsibilities:
Primary focus will be troubleshooting and maintenance of robotic feed systems and milking equipment.
Installing new or used equipment in a timely, professional and efficient manner.
Working with a variety of equipment parts and design plans.
Servicing and maintaining any existing equipment as quickly and reliable as possible to ensure as little down time as possible.
Communicating with business owners and staff about any updates and requirements.
Test and ensure that any new or existing equipment is running smoothly as per job specs.
Training business owner and staff about any new equipment and technology.
Interact with other team members in a positive manner and provide input as needed.
Accurate Daily reporting (time sheets)
What you will need:
Previous experience with robotic dairy equipment is an asset.
Must be reliable.
Secondary school graduate or equivalent.
Mechanically inclined with general construction, plumbing, electrical, welding, and /or HVAC.
Attention to detail skills
Must work well within a team environment and also self-manage
Valid G driver’s licence
Able to lift heaving objects. Not afraid of heights or getting dirty within an agriculture environment.
Available for occasional overtime and some weekends for emergency repairs.
Must be able to work in all weather, indoors and outdoors.
