Farm Hand

To Whom It May Concern,

I am here today to apply for any position as a farm hand for the summer season.

I am currently a second year veterinary student at the University of Nicosia and am working to complete my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. I am a hardworking and focused individual with a bachelor’s degree in animal biology from the University of Guelph and know I will make an excellent addition to your team.

My experience working on a wide variety of farms, in animal hospitals, and in the corporate world has taught me to excel in a fast-paced work environment with people of all personality types.  I am able to effectively balance multiple tasks and am an efficient employee with excellent time management skills.  At Kortright Animal hospital I was responsible for training multiple volunteers and was able to demonstrate my leadership skills and initiative.  As a varsity athlete, I have learned and had the opportunity to display many valuable and transferable skills that go well beyond the rugby field.  I am an excellent team player and a friendly individual.

I have worked as a sales associate and within the corporate work force for many years and have developed outstanding communication and problem solving skills through these positions. I feel that my work and academic experiences qualify me to excel in any possistion on farm. I am a hardworking individual who enjoys physical labour jobs and working on farm in general.
