Chef in Town Ready Meals is a CFIA-certified food manufacturing facility in Leduc, Alberta, producing high-quality frozen and chilled ready meals — including rice bowls, noodle dishes, sushi, and teriyaki products — for retail and foodservice customers across Western Canada. We are part of Yanshan Holding Inc., which also operates Tokyo Express Restaurants.
Job Summary
We are hiring Food Processing Workers to join our production team in Leduc. You will assist with food preparation, assembly, packaging, and quality checks in a fast-paced, CFIA-regulated manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, portion, and assemble food products according to recipes and standard operating procedures
Operate and monitor production line equipment (e.g., packaging, sealing, labeling machines)
Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet food safety and consistency standards
Follow HACCP, GMP, and food safety protocols at all times
Maintain a clean and sanitary work area in compliance with CFIA regulations
Accurately complete production logs, temperature checks, and traceability records
Lift and move ingredients, packaging materials, and finished products (up to 25 kg)
Work safely with kitchen and processing equipment, including knives and hot surfaces
Support general housekeeping, sanitation, and end-of-shift cleanup
Requirements
Previous experience in food manufacturing, kitchen, or warehouse environment an asset, but not required — training provided
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
Comfortable working in a cold/refrigerated production environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety
Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
Legally entitled to work in Canada
Food Safety Certificate an asset (or willingness to obtain one)
